Terry Lucas

Terry has lived in California for over 38 years, arriving from Yorktown and Williamsburg, Virginia as a graduate student. She has accomplished much since her arrival, and has worked for 20 years as a School Psychologist for the Los Angeles Unified School District, and for over 32 years as a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. Terry studied in Italy on a scholarship in Renaissance History, Architecture and Art. She was very privileged to be given free rein in the Vatican Museum by the Monsignor/Director due to his recognition of her “passion for learning.”  She and her fellow students were honored with an audience with the Pope, and she helped in the restoration of art work and buildings destroyed in the Great Arno River Flood of 1966. She has continued to visit Italy over the years. Her love of cooking and cuisine has allowed her to be invited into many chefs’ kitchens to learn from them and enjoy their company. She has traveled extensively in India, Europe and Australia, and has friends on every continent; Terry loves to learn new things, experience new adventures, and laugh.
