Brando Cutts


Brando met LBSC through its educational outreach programs in The Long Beach Unified School District. In the LBSC summer festivals, he has played a variety of roles, including Flute/Thisbe in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Trinculo in The Tempest, Michael Williams and Captain MacMorris in Henry V, Anthony Dull in Love's Labour's Lost, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew, and Enobarbus in Antony and Cleopatra. At LBSC's Richard Goad Theatre, Brando has played Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Peter in Romeo and Juliet, both Marley's Ghost and Scrooge's Nephew in A Christmas Carol, Lane/Merriman in The Importance of Being Earnest, The Prince of Morocco in The Renaissance Dating Game, both The Kid and Tom Polhouse in The Maltese Falcon, Duke Frederick and Silvius in As You Like It and, in a part written especially for him, The Clerk in Dracula. He was featured in several roles in LBSC's Hamlet, for which he was mentioned by the L.A. Weekly as "the versatile Brandon Cutts." Brando just graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from UC Irvine.
