Laura Kaplan

Laura is in her fourth year at UC San Diego where she majors in political science and French literature. Performing onstage has always been one of the most thrilling parts of her life. She danced ballet for 16 years and participated in several plays and acting competitions during high school. Some of her favorite roles include Anne Frank; Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing; Helena from A Midsummer Night's Dream; and Margaret from the Celtic drama, Selkie. With the LBSC she has appeared as Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest; the Amazon queen, Hippolyta, in A Midsummer Night's Dream; Princess Katherine in Henry V; and, most recently, as Octavia in Antony and Cleopatra. Having just returned from a year of studying abroad in Lyon, France, Laura is especially excited and honored to be performing as Roxana in this great French classic. Merci a tous mes inspirations!
