
Michael is happy to return to Los Angeles after a brief stint in Seattle. He graduated from UCSD, where he earned degrees in Biology and Theatre (Theatrical Biology). After many performances at UCSD, he became a resident teaching artist of improvisational theatre at the La Jolla Playhouse. He wrote and directed pieces for Planned Parenthood's IMAGES Theater. In Seattle he performed simultaneously as Malvolio and a Mohawk-wearing, banjo-playing Feste in Twelfth Night. Other Seattle credits include Ted in A Series of Consequences and AJ Clikett in the Spinal Tap-esque country music band "Marty Truck and the Big Rigs." While studying leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica, Michael wrote and acted in a children's conservation piece entitled Las Aventuras de Paula la Baula He also toured the north island of New Zealand with the sketch comedy troupe "In Other Views." Favorite roles for the LBSC include Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Dracula in Dracula, Cassius in Julius Ceasar and Feste in Twelfth Night. These performances are dedicated to all the brave souls who fight for truth and beauty despite malaise and despondency.
