Originally from Texas, this Actor/Dancer/Choreographer has just moved to Los Angeles from New York City, where she ventured to pursue her dreams of acting and choreography. However, Rachel was intrigued by life on the west coast, so she packed up her things and moved to sunny L.A.
Rachel holds a B.F.A. in Theatre and Dance from Texas State University, having graduated in May 2008. Shakespeare being her ultimate passion, Rachel studied in England under the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Getting to see where Shakespeare lived and breathed was a life-changing experience for Rachel; that was when she knew she wanted to perform Shakespeare professionally.
Besides her classical training, Stanislavsky, Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Fitzmaurice, and Brestoff add to her training.
Rachel is an accomplished dancer and choreographer as well. Rachel is a freelance choreographer, having taught dance all over the states of Texas and New York. Currently, Rachel is the Dance Director/Choreographer at Monroe Middle School in Lakewood, CA. She has the opportunity to inspire and affect young dancers, in hopes that the art becomes a passion in their lives. She produces two dance showcases a semester, open to the public, to display her choreography and her dancers' talent.
