Shauna McClanahan

Shauna recently moved from New York to California to further her career in acting. She received a BA in Theatre Performance from Marymount Manhattan College. The intense training there introduced her to many styles of acting: Clown, Meisner, Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Shakespeare, Suzuki, Mime, and Lecoq. She also has dance training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Point, River Dance, Hip-hop, Country, and select Ballroom styles. Her clown persona, Sandra the Clown, helped her discover her niche for comedy and broaden her acting range. This character was used in the final show of her junior year, and the following year she used it again for an improve show in the East Village in New York City titled Clownin' Around. Lately, she has been doing background work to get comfortable on set and begin the steps toward getting film work. She is committed to acting, has a wide range, and is seeking representation.
