Vanessa Rivero

When Vanessa was little, she was regularly exposed to classic black & white films, musicals, ballets, plays and the opera. But before she started acting, Vanessa was heavily involved with gymnastics & swimming. In fact she was a competitive swimmer for over ten years. By her sophomore year in high school she was very busy with school, competing & work. As a result, she didn't begin acting until the end of high school. But once she hit the stage, there was no turning back. Vanessa went on to attend San Francisco State University and majored in Theatre Arts. In the past 18 months, Vanessa has kept very busy in a handful of plays and various film and television projects. No Justice No Peace at the COLSAC Theatre in Hollywood headed a stream of back-to-back plays. Immediately following, she was offered a dual role in Dracula as Lucy and Weird Sister #3 (also known as "a Bride" of Dracula) with LBSC. Then back in Hollywood at the COLSAC Theatre in 12 Angry Women, first as Juror #2, but then was given her first lead role as Juror #3. Next she played Alexander's mom and Mrs. Dickens in her first musical, Alexander & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. A month later she began rehearsals for A.D.D. - Attention Deficit Disco, a Berubians sketch comedy show at the Next Stage Theatre in Hollywood. Vanessa has completed several independent films that are headed to festivals.!
