Jessie McLean

Jessie trained at the LA County High School for the Arts, New York University, the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and received her BFA from the College of Santa Fe. Her most memorable roles are Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables: The Musical, Nora in A Doll's House, Baker's Wife in Into the Woods, Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac, Christina in Dancing at Lughnasa, and Reggie Fluty in The Laramie Project. She was invited to join LBSC last summer for Romeo and Juliet and The Comedy of Errors, and was thrilled to be involved in the world premiere of The Maltese Falcon as Iva Archer. She currently teaches an after-school program with Chino Valley U.S.D., which focuses on creative and theatrical expression for elementary and junior high school students. She has directed and taught similar programs at Seventh Street Theatre in Chino and the Negri Learning Center in Palos Verdes.
