Queen Guinevere introduces the feast and festivities, but Arthur refuses to eat until he has been told a true tale of exceptional valor. Suddenly, in rides a giant, dressed in green, on a green horse, with a giant axe. He dares any of the knights to play a deadly game with him, and young Gawain rises to the challenge. It's Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a 14th Century epic tale of knights, a dragon, trolls, an ogre, a sorceress, sword fighting, and a mysterious lovely lady! With live music and dancing! An extraordinary holiday entertainment!

November 30 thru December 22 at the Richard Goad Theater, 4250 Atlantic Ave. in Long Beach.

Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $20.00 general, $10.00 students.

Attend 10 individual performances throughout the season (Jan-Dec 2013), or bring a companion to five performances, or use your pass for one or two family nights out…it is good for any combination amounting to ten tickets. It's up to you! Just call the Theatre at least 48 hours in advance of the performance you would like to attend to reserve your seats. Price: $100
