Support the Long Beach Shakespeare Company

Here are some new ways to actively support the only full-time classical theatre company in Long Beach. The only company that provides traditional performances in period costumes, with music, dancing, fencing, and terrific acting! The only company whose mission is to promote literacy and to ignite the imaginations of audiences, both young and seasoned!

Only 8 more performances of Hamlet! Don't miss this exciting production that has it all! Murder, a ghost, conspiracy, comedy, tragedy, a spectacular sword fight, and revenge! Click HERE for tickets.

In our intimate, 40-seat theatre, you can meet Mat Kaplan of the Planetary Society, as he gives us a multi-media presentation, with the latest news from "Curiosity," the NASA rover recently landed on Mars, and you can experience the radio show that panicked America as LBSC re-creates Orson Welles' version of H.G. Wells' classic, The War of the Worlds, with live sound effects and music produced by the actors! One night only: Tuesday, October 30th, at 7pm. Only 12 seats left! Click HERE for tickets.

PLEASE REMEMBER, THESE UNIQUE, ENTERTAINING AND INSPIRING EXPERIENCES ARE MADE POSSIBLE BY YOUR SUPPORT!

In order to continue to pay our rent, make our costumes and sets, keep our lights on, and print our programs, we need your help! It is our goal to enrich our community by making the classics affordable and accessible, and by working with the schools and youth groups to promote a desire for and understanding of the classics. Please help!

BE A PLAYER! GET A BARD CARD FOR FIFTY DOLLARS!

A Bard Card is good for six admissions to the Richard Goad Theatre. Six admissions... both student and general ... and can be used at any of the performances, stage plays or webcasts. A special incentive to support us NOW! Bard Cards make great gifts, too!

OR ... BECOME A "FRIEND OF THE LONG BEACH SHAKESPEARE COMPANY!"

Any contribution of $25.00 or more will put you on our list of "Friends" for a whole year! Starting October 30th, our Friends' names will be printed in our programs and listed on our website for a year. These contributions are tax-deductible. You may contribute in your own name and/or you may dedicate a donation to someone else for a special occasion (a birthday, anniversary, Valentine, and so on, which will be duly noted with their name, for example: "Lady Macbeth--Happy Anniversary" or "Methesula--Many Happy Returns," and so on).
