A Wire In Mind
A Wire In Mind
Synopsis: The Bacall family take care of their patriarch of the house, a once lauded surgeon now in the stages of Alzheimer. Their daughter, Alexis, uses a home security app which records the various activities that occur throughout the house. Alexis begins altering the app in order to preserve her Father’s memories, which slowly convince her to implant false memories to build an idealized version of her father.
The Argument: Within the season’s theme, the festival highlights how legends are born—not only from the past, but from the artists who shape our future. Every great play, every timeless character, once had a first performance. By championing new work, we honor the legacy of theatre itself: a living, evolving art form where today’s creations become tomorrow’s unforgettable stories.
